Project Background
OC Public Works will remove and replace four bridges, with three located in Silverado Canyon and one in Modjeska Canyon. The bridges planned for replacement are 2-lane steel bridges built in the 1930s and 1940s. The new bridges are designed to enhance safety and access for residents and area motorists by bringing the structures up to current design standards.

Project Information
The four replacement bridges will be precast voided concrete slabs, single span bridges. In addition to constructing new bridge structures, the existing abutment will be completely removed and replaced. The bridge located near Ladd Canyon Road will be the first of the four bridges to be removed and replaced. OC Public Works will host community outreach meetings to present the preliminary bridge design options to the community and to solicit feedback.
