FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM)

Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM), a.k.a. Flood Maps, can be viewed through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Map Service Center. If you have the map panel number, the map selection process will be quicker. See our step-by-step instructions for Reading the FIRM. The Flood Maps for your community should also be available for review at your local Community Map Repository site; typically this is your local planning, zoning, or engineering office.

If you would like copies of Flood Maps or to print a FIRMette, they may be obtained through FEMA's Map Service Center. A FIRMette allows you to print a portion of the FIRM by enlarging the map to your specific property location. The FIRMette will also include pertinent information; community number, map/panel number, date of revision, and flood zone area if applicable.

If you need copies of FIRM panels (36” x 24”), they may also be obtained through FEMA’s Map Service Center.
